Our Wish List

Independent living = new challenges

Moving can be one of the most stressful things in life. In our housing programs, transitional age youth (18 to 24) are constantly moving into our 114 apartments throughout Columbus. This group has very unique needs and obstacles to face. No matter the path, this move is one of the first steps to a successful independent life.

We teach our young people that independence is achievable with the right tools. We provide a safe, furnished apartment and a housing team that supports them through finding employment, education, mentorship, and connects them to available resources.

However, it takes way more than just furniture to make a home. Simple household items add up quickly. Young people in our programs may not have the means to have their home “fully stocked”. Kitchen and cleaning supplies are essential to learning good health and hygiene habits. Being comfortable in your own home is easier with bedding, towels, and a little decoration.

Giving made easy

We know what our young people need to start to feel at home. Our Amazon Wish List makes it easy for you to make an impact. Donations are shipped directly to our team to ensure that items go to those who need them most.

This list is also available on the “Support Us” page of our website and is updated weekly to ensure that we are meeting the most current needs.
