Huck House Youth Award Winner Jerman D. Price

Huck House Youth Award Winner Jerman D. Price

Jerman first went to the Star House in the summer of 2016 at the age of 20. At that time, due to a lack of support from loved ones and himself, he was homeless and unemployed, and living between a tent and a shelter. Jerman gained employment through the Godman Guild and began making steps towards getting his own place and making a better future for himself. Jerman’s faith helped him get back on his feet. He now works full time as a child care teacher and has his own place to call home. In the future, Jerman would like to get back into college, care for his daughter and get his driver’s license.
